Dog Photographer & More...

• My friends and family describe me as funny.  Considering I love to make you smile, I do take pride in that compliment.   I am a happy wife to one man since 1994, and a Mom to three young adults.  
  I currently have three English Cream golden retrievers,  Violet, Violet's daughter Ivy and Ivy's daughter Lily.  We have lots and lots of playdates with five of Violet's pups Cody, Brady, Charlie, Oliver and Appa.  I would not change a thing.
  I have been a photographer all of my life, but started making photos for other people in 2008.  I absolutely LOVE making pictures...and I absolutely LOVE dogs...so yes of course...you can most certainly call me Joanne, the dog photographer.  
• I am passionate about PURPLE
• I love "glamping" and after years and years of camping with a popup and kids, my husband and I now have a 23 foot travel trailer and very much enjoy visiting dog friendly new places in New England.
• HGTV and Marvel movie reruns are two of my greatest diversions.
• I am a Creative Memories Consultant, have been since 1997, and I am passionate about photos and helping you document your own memories and photos to be enjoyed by generations for years. 
• I am a breast cancer survivor.
• My whoopee pie making skills are impressive.
• At the age of 36 I cohabited for the first time ever with a golden retriever named Tasha, and from this day forth I intend to always have a golden in my life.
• I live in Westbrook Maine, a town with a population of 17,501.  My aim is to photograph 17,000 of them.....and their dogs too.
